Refund & Cancellation Policy
1. 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee
If you are subscribing to Mindnook for the first time (either the On-Demand Sandbox tier or the 24/7 Autonomous Box tier) and are dissatisfied for any reason, you are entitled to a full refund within fourteen (14) calendar days of the initial transaction timestamp.
2. How to Request a Refund
You can request a refund directly through either of the following channels:
Via Paddle Support
Visit paddle.net to look up your receipt and request a direct refund from our Merchant of Record.
Processing
Once approved, refunds are credited back to your original payment method within 3–7 business days.
3. Subscription Cancellations
You can cancel your recurring subscription at any time without penalty:
- Self-Serve Cancellation: You can cancel via your Mindnook account settings or directly via the Paddle customer management link sent with every invoice receipt.
- Access Until Cycle End: If you cancel after the 14-day initial refund period, your subscription will remain active and your microVM compute will stay provisioned until the end of your prepaid monthly billing period. You will not be charged again.
- Data Preservation: We will keep your Obsidian vault notes intact for 14 days after subscription expiration so you can export or sync them locally before the microVM is decommissioned.
4. Renewal Billing
Subscriptions renew automatically each month. Unless canceled prior to the next renewal date, charges for renewal periods are generally non-refundable once the billing date passes. However, if an accidental renewal occurs and you have not used the microVM during the renewed cycle, please contact us within 48 hours and our team will review your request in good faith.
5. Chargebacks and Disputes
We strongly encourage you to contact us at [email protected] or via paddle.net before initiating a payment dispute or chargeback with your bank or credit card provider. Chargebacks add unnecessary processing delays, whereas our team processes valid refund requests quickly.
6. Exceptions and Abuse
We reserve the right to decline refund requests in clear cases of fraudulent behavior, severe violations of our Acceptable Use Policy (such as DDoS attacks, malware distribution, or crypto mining on microVM instances), or repeat refund abuse by the same user.
